I am very thankful for the many photographers whose work is found throughout A Timbered Quiet. I take no credit for these photographs whatsoever. Attribution for photographs used can be found within the body of this site’s pages and posts.

“Comrades in this solemn fight . . . let us settle it as something that cannot be shaken: we are here to live holy, loving, lowly lives. We cannot do this unless we walk very, very close to our Lord Jesus. Anything that would hinder us from the closest walk possible to us till we see Him face to face is not for us.”

– Amy Carmichael, 1867 – 1951, Missionary in India for 55 years.

Even though He is already well-acquainted with everything about us, the LORD delights whenever we bring our burdens to Him in prayer, expressing our faith (even as small as a mustard seed) and trust in Him.

There are times when the companionship of a brother or sister in Messiah Jesus is beneficial as we journey to His throne with our supplications (prayers for our needs as opposed to the needs of another).

Women and men of prayer are honored and blessed whenever they are asked to join their faith together with our need and to bring them to the LORD on our behalf.

If you would like me to pray with you and for you, please complete the form at the bottom of this page and include your specific prayer request in the Comment section.

Please limit your prayer requests to only those concerning your relationship with the LORD.

I also welcome prayer requests from anyone who is not yet saved by faith in Messiah Jesus (Jesus Christ).

Your prayer request will never ever be published. Only the LORD and I will know of your need.

Please note that when I pray, I pray from the truth of the Word of God.

— L.A.
